Senior Solutions Architect, Robotics and Voice AI

Cerence is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to drive technical engagement with robotics companies integrating voice AI into mobile service robots. You'll own the technical core of deals, design integrations across robot hardware and software stacks, and influence product strategy based on real customer hardware and conditions. This is a fast-moving role blending pre-sales engineering, architecture, and product feedback.

• Engage senior technical decision-makers at robotics companies building physical AI in mobile and service robotics.
• Own the technical core of every opportunity, from understanding how the voice solution runs on customer hardware to designing integration approaches.
• Clear technical roadblocks between interest and a signed deal, turning evaluations into commitments.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and professional services teams to translate field learnings into go-to-market and product strategy.
• Shape the product by feeding real customer hardware and conditions back into the roadmap.

• Background in computer science, software engineering, or related engineering discipline, with hands-on development or solutions/sales engineering experience.
• Understanding of the robotics software stack: middleware/ROS 2, autonomy stack (perception, SLAM/Nav2, MoveIt 2), intelligence layer (foundation models, agentic orchestration), fleet operations (RobOps, VDA 5050, ERP/WMS).
