CCC Intelligent Solutions is seeking an AI Engineer to build and ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows for the insurance claims domain. The role involves developing deterministic workflows with embedded AI agents, ensuring high accuracy, privacy, and security in production systems. You will own features end-to-end, from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows in Python and TypeScript
- Design and implement evals, guardrails, and feedback loops for model trustworthiness
- Maintain NLP pipelines blending semantic search, classical NLP, and LLMs
- Build durable, event-driven services with checkpointed model outputs
- Trace model calls and agent steps for auditability and alerting
- Model and query data across relational, document, and graph stores
- Write technical design documents and participate in on-call rotations
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience shipping at least one LLM-powered feature in production
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript (typed, tested, async)
- Experience designing LLM evals and implementing guardrails
