Staff ML Ops Engineer

Boston Dynamics is hiring a Staff MLOps Engineer to join the Central Software ML Platform team in Waltham, MA. You will build the tools, infrastructure, and pipelines that unify how product and research teams train, deploy, and continuously improve ML models for advanced robotics. The role spans turning proofs of concept into scalable production systems, managing GPU clusters, and profiling and optimizing data, training, and evaluation pipelines alongside ML/RL engineers and researchers.

• Transform proofs of concept into scalable solutions that deliver new robot capabilities to customers
• Evolve and scale fielded solutions to enable continuous model improvement and redeployment
• Own end-to-end delivery of new capabilities, spanning implementation, testing, deployment, and operations
• Maintain GPU clusters and develop automation to monitor and improve cluster health
• Use observability tools to monitor system health and root-cause problems across the platform
• Profile and optimize ML data, training, and evaluation pipelines for accuracy and efficiency
• Implement, deploy, and maintain ML infrastructure with the ML Platform team
• Participate in agile development, coordinating work and communicating progress
• Mentor and upskill peers and contributors across the organization
