Boomi is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Agentic AI Engineering team in Denver. This role focuses on architecting scalable data infrastructure to power LLM-based agents, multi-agent workflows, and tool-using AI systems. The engineer will bridge the gap between experimental AI prototypes and enterprise-grade reliability.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, secure, and observable data infrastructure for agentic AI systems.
- Design and operate batch and real-time data pipelines supporting embeddings, RAG, and agent memory.
- Manage vector database solutions for low-latency retrieval and contextual intelligence.
- Implement data governance, quality controls, lineage tracking, and PII/security compliance.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to productionize experimental prototypes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building large-scale data platforms as a Data Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
- Experience with streaming systems like Kafka or Kinesis.
- Proficiency with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools like Snowflake.
- Understanding of LLM/AI data workflows including RAG pipelines and vector databases.
