AI Engineer

Berkley Hunt is hiring an AI Engineer for a fast-growing Series B tech company redefining manufacturing engineering with AI. The role involves developing and deploying LLMs for classifying aerospace engineering text, building end-to-end ML features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requires 5+ years of experience in AI/ML production, strong NLP expertise, and product thinking.

• Develop and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for classifying aerospace engineering text.
• Implement end-to-end ML features from product requirements to production deployment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate AI capabilities into the platform.
• Design and maintain reproducible training pipelines.
• Optimize model training processes, inference performance, and cloud infrastructure costs.
• Establish MLOps best practices for versioning, monitoring, and maintaining AI systems.
• Mentor team members on AI concepts and best practices.

• 5+ years of professional experience developing AI/ML solutions in production.
• Strong expertise in NLP, particularly with transformer-based models (BERT, GPT, etc.).
• Experience taking ML features from concept to production.
• Full-stack development capabilities to build complete AI features.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills.
