Amazon's AI Security team in Vancouver is hiring a Security Engineer to protect AI/ML services and customers at scale. You'll design security controls, conduct security reviews for AI/ML products, lead penetration testing, and build security automation within a secure development life-cycle. The role involves close collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams and serving as a trusted security advisor.
Responsibilities
- Conduct security reviews for AI/ML products, technologies, and services throughout the SDLC
- Design and implement secure architecture for AI/ML systems following security engineering best practices
- Lead penetration testing engagements and develop new testing methods and exploits
- Build security tools and automation to address complex security risk problems
- Perform threat modeling and security testing as part of secure development life-cycle practices
- Influence stakeholders and decision-makers across multiple teams to maintain a consistently high security bar
- Create security guidance, documentation, and training for internal development teams
- Develop and improve metrics that drive desired behaviour and security outcomes
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Support mentoring, team building, and recruiting activities
