About the Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer / Applied AI Engineer to build intelligent features for a SaaS platform, focusing on document analysis, classification, extraction, validation, and assisted automation. The ideal candidate can transform business rules and real documents into useful AI workflows integrated into the product. This role involves working with large language models, OCR, and document intelligence to create reliable and explainable AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create AI flows for document classification and analysis.
- Work with language models, OCR, and document intelligence.
- Structure prompts, validations, and guardrails.
- Extract structured data from PDFs, images, and documents.
- Build mechanisms to identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent documents.
- Integrate AI responses with backend/frontend for user experience.
- Produce structured JSON outputs for application consumption.
- Evaluate AI response quality and propose improvements.
- Create test datasets and evaluation scenarios.
- Document prompt logic, rules, limitations, and confidence criteria.
- Focus on privacy, security, and responsible data use.
Requirements
- Experience with OpenAI API or similar models.
- Advanced prompt engineering skills.
- Experience with OCR and document parsing.
