Adyen is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Amsterdam team, focusing on building and operating robust ML systems at scale. The role involves designing production pipelines for risk, fraud, and behavioral prediction models while collaborating with data scientists and MLOps teams. Candidates will drive the full model lifecycle from prototype to deployment in high-impact domains like Customer Risk and Anti-Money Laundering.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, validation, and deployment
- Design and optimize online learning, clustering, and supervised/semi-supervised models for risk patterns
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in ML training and inference (latency, memory)
- Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to integrate ML solutions into products
- Partner with MLOps teams to shape tool priorities and ensure effective integration
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an engineer in the machine learning domain
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with the full machine learning model lifecycle in production flows
- Proficiency with big data tools such as PySpark and SQL (Trino)
