Adobe Research's Research Engineering & Design Lab is hiring a Research Engineer to optimize the resource consumption of large-scale generative AI models for cloud and on-device deployment. The role focuses on turning cutting-edge research in generative AI, image processing, audio, video, and 3D graphics into efficient features across Adobe's web, desktop, and mobile applications used by tens of millions of people.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with scientists and engineers on ambitious research projects in generative AI and ML efficiency
Optimize the resource consumption of large-scale generative models for cloud and on-device deployment
Adapt models and algorithms to the constraints of different systems and devices (cloud, mobile, in-browser)
Build innovative tools that enable users to explore their creative potential
Contribute to existing Adobe tools as well as completely new applications

Requirements

Passion for model optimization/compression and high-performance computing
Solid deep learning skills with practical experience in computer vision or NLP
Knowledge of the current state of the art in ML efficiency
Experience improving the efficiency of mid- to large-scale ML models
