Accurx is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the Triage Intelligence team in London. You will design and own end-to-end ML systems for healthcare communication, translating clinical objectives into scalable AI solutions. The role involves partnering with data scientists to productionize models and building reusable infrastructure for real-time patient care decisions.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of end-to-end technical design of ML systems from ingestion to deployment
- Partner with Data Scientists to evolve experimental code into high-quality, extensible library modules
- Translate complex clinical and product objectives into efficient computational tasks
- Build models and systems that can be adopted by other Accurx product teams
- Define offline and online metrics to measure model performance and user impact
Requirements
- Extensive experience with ML techniques including Transformer-based NLP, Deep Learning, and Bayesian modelling
- Proven track record of taking models from Jupyter notebooks to high-availability production environments
- Mastery of a production-grade language such as Python, C#, or Go
- Experience defining both offline training metrics and online behavioral metrics
