We are seeking a Remote Computer Vision Engineer to design and implement computer vision algorithms and deep learning models for next-generation AI applications. The role involves processing large-scale image and video datasets, building object detection and segmentation systems, and collaborating with a cross-functional team. This is a fully remote position based in the US.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for object detection, image segmentation, tracking, and recognition.
- Implement and fine-tune deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers) for computer vision applications.
- Process and analyze large-scale image and video datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into products.
- Research and stay updated on the latest computer vision and deep learning advancements.
- Optimize algorithms for performance and efficiency on various hardware platforms.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate model performance.
- Develop robust pipelines for data annotation, model training, and deployment.
- Contribute to the architecture of scalable computer vision systems.
- Document research findings, algorithms, and system designs.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with specialization in computer vision or machine learning.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying computer vision algorithms and systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with proficiency in OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Deep understanding of classical computer vision techniques and modern deep learning approaches.
- Experience working with large image and video datasets.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team.

- Familiarity with image processing techniques, 3D vision, and sensor fusion.
