Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Behavior

Woven by Toyota is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance behavior planning for autonomous driving. This role involves designing deep learning models, deploying ML on vehicle platforms, and collaborating with autonomy teams.

• Lead design and development of advanced ML models for autonomous vehicles using deep learning and simulation
• Deploy scalable ML models on autonomous vehicle platform
• Contribute to end-to-end ML training and deployment, from data strategy to validation
• Collaborate with Perception, Motion Planning, Simulation, and other teams

• MS or PhD in ML, CS, Robotics, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years Python and deep learning framework experience
• Comfortable writing C++
• 3+ years experience with deep learning approaches (pretraining, distillation, RL, etc.)
• Strong communication skills

• Published research at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR)
• Experience deploying ML models at scale in self-driving
• Experience with large-scale models (LLMs, VLMs)
• Experience with computer vision or motion planning
