Wayve is seeking Senior and Staff Machine Learning Engineers to build end-to-end driving models for Level 2-4 autonomy. You will own the full ML lifecycle, from data curation and training to on-road validation and production deployment for commercial partners like Nissan. This role focuses on high-impact delivery of embodied AI technologies in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI driver model architectures and training algorithms for L2/L3/L4 autonomous driving behaviors.
- Own key parts of the training model lifecycle, including evaluation strategy, success metrics, and iteration planning.
- Mine, bucket, and curate real-world and synthetic data to teach specific driving behaviors.
- Run and analyze on-road and offline experiments to drive improvements through repeated training cycles.
Requirements
- Proven experience training deep learning models with clear end-to-end ownership (data, training, evaluation, iteration).
- Experience taking ML models into production, navigating real-world constraints and safety requirements.
- Strong background in Deep Learning and PyTorch.
