Staff Engineer, AI, Engineering Experience

This Staff Engineer will lead the technical strategy for AI-assisted and agentic development infrastructure at Vinted, shaping how hundreds of employees build software with AI. The role involves owning the vision for tools like Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code, driving AI-enabled workflows, and defining metrics for developer productivity.

• Own the technical vision for Vinted's agentic development ecosystem with AI. Drive expansion of AI-enabled engineering workflows, including debugging with logs, traces, and system context. Lead AI application beyond coding, such as incident investigation. Define AI-ready standards for repositories and services. Guide the roadmap of the AI tooling team. Lead experiments on emerging AI capabilities and evaluate build-versus-buy decisions.

• Deep enthusiasm for the AI landscape and ability to translate breakthroughs to engineering value. Prior experience as a staff engineer or architect delivering cross-team platform initiatives. Hands-on expertise with modern AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex). Strong understanding of LLM application architecture, agent design, and MCP. Comfort with fast pivots and ability to separate real capabilities from hype. Experience driving technical strategies across hundreds of engineers.
