Trener Robotics is seeking a Vision Systems Engineer to lead the vision stack for Acteris, an AI-powered industrial automation platform. This hands-on role involves sensor selection, integration, calibration, and perception algorithm development for robotics. You will drive technical decisions and ensure production reliability of vision systems.
Responsibilities
- Select and qualify industrial 2D/3D cameras based on application needs and factory constraints.
- Build production-grade camera adapters with vendor-agnostic interfaces.
- Tune sensor parameters and condition images/point clouds for stable perception.
- Own intrinsic and extrinsic calibration end-to-end, including tooling and validation.
- Implement perception capabilities such as part localization and pose estimation.
- Define vision benchmarks and quality gates for lab and production.
- Build deployment tools for integrators to set up and validate vision systems.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of hands-on industrial computer vision experience with production deployments.
- Experience integrating and configuring industrial 3D/RGB-D sensors, including calibration and tuning.
