Join the EE Platform team at TikTok (Pico) as a Graduate AI Vision Research Engineer to develop power-efficient machine perception systems for AR/VR hardware. This role involves innovating on imaging algorithms, optimizing ML models for edge accelerators, and collaborating on HW/SW co-design to enhance system performance and latency. Responsibilities
- Innovate and develop low-latency, intelligent machine perception vision systems for VR/AR products.
- Develop training pipelines and state-of-the-art ML algorithms for scene and user behavior understanding.
- Map ML algorithms to hardware accelerators, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing for efficiency.
- Collaborate on cloud-edge workload partitioning and define edge ML accelerator requirements.
- Validate ideas through system modeling and FPGA prototyping.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical discipline.
- Research experience in ML algorithms or AI accelerator design.
- Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, and Python.
