Join the Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) team to engineer and improve cutting-edge machine learning systems and tools. This role focuses on research engineering, supporting scientists in training models, collecting data, and deploying research advancements to products impacting billions of users.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, design, and implement cutting-edge ML systems and tools for enabling research
- Develop platform and framework projects using expert coding skills
- Write clean and robust machine learning code across the entire lifecycle
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers
Requirements
- 0-1 years of deep learning experience working with codebases supporting AI/ML models
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or C/C++
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
Nice to Have
- Proven software engineering track record via professional work or open source contributions
- PhD or advanced degree preferred
- Experience with coding competitions
