About the Role
Micron Technology is seeking Master's and PhD graduates to join its AI Innovation team as an AI Innovation Research Engineer. The role focuses on identifying AI opportunities, evaluating emerging technologies, building prototypes, and driving enterprise-wide AI adoption. Working with senior leaders, the engineer will shape next-generation AI capabilities and deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze enterprise opportunities where AI can create business value.
- Research emerging AI technologies, models, frameworks, and industry trends.
- Design and develop proof-of-concept solutions using generative AI, agentic AI, and machine learning.
- Build business cases, quantify benefits, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to AI innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- Recent Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, Machine Learning, or Data Analytics.
- Programming experience in Python or similar languages.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Research experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, NLP, Human-AI Interaction, or Intelligent Systems.
