AI Research Engineer (Applied AI)

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an AI Research Engineer (Applied AI) to bridge cutting-edge research and production engineering. The role involves designing and shipping advanced ML systems that solve high-impact business problems, requiring deep expertise in deep learning and modern ML frameworks. This is a 100% remote, full-time position with long-term engagement.

• Design, prototype, and evaluate applied AI solutions across NLP, vision, recommendation, and structured data domains.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into well-scoped ML formulations with clear success metrics.
• Stay current with latest research in deep learning and LLMs, and assess applicability for internal use cases.
• Build production-quality training and inference pipelines using modern ML frameworks and orchestration tools.
• Optimize models for accuracy, latency, throughput, and cost based on production requirements.
• Collaborate with ML platform engineers and mentor team members on applied ML methodology.

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in applied machine learning and deep learning.
• Strong software engineering skills and ability to build robust, scalable pipelines.
• Deep understanding of modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and deployment tools.
