Applied AI Engineer [33306]

This stealth startup is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design, train, and deploy production-grade AI models for next-generation AI agents in financial workflows. The role focuses on fine-tuning LLMs and multimodal models, building reliable model pipelines, and integrating AI agents into production. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business problems into scalable AI systems.

• Fine-tune large language models and multimodal models for domain-specific use cases
• Design and implement post-training pipelines (instruction tuning, RLHF, evaluation loops)
• Build and improve AI agents capable of executing multi-step workflows
• Integrate models into production environments and product features
• Develop evaluation and testing frameworks for model performance and edge cases
• Work with proprietary datasets to improve model specialization

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience training or fine-tuning ML/AI models
• Experience with LLM or multimodal model training pipelines
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face)
• Experience deploying ML models into production systems
• Understanding of evaluation methodologies and model performance tradeoffs
• 1+ years of work experience with IT Integration, Python, and Benchmarking
