Data Scientist

Stats Perform is seeking a Data Scientist to research and implement innovative machine learning techniques on sports data across soccer and tennis. The role involves productizing models, presenting solutions to internal teams, and mentoring colleagues on best practices. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch is required.

• Researching, developing, and implementing innovative machine learning techniques to Stats Perform's wealth of sports data, across various sports, such as soccer and tennis.
• Productizing your models alongside engineers and product teams, in a quick and efficient way.
• Presenting your solutions to other internal teams, broadening AI proficiency in the company.
• Providing technical guidance to various teams on the artificial intelligence approaches that our team uses.
• Identify new AI solutions for emerging problems, create requirements and propose an outline a roadmap for delivering the project.
• Support, train and mentor team members on best machine learning implementation practices.

• Master's or PhD in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics or related STEM fields.
• 3+ years of experience working as a data scientist (or similar role).
• Expert proficiency of Python and experience using SQL, alongside using common ML/AI packages (TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.).
