The role involves training, deploying, and optimizing deep learning models on aerial and geospatial imagery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring data scientists.
Responsibilities
Explore data sources and develop PropertyTech and InsurTech models using machine learning and deep learning.
Research, design, and implement deep learning algorithms and architectures for aerial imagery and geospatial data.
Lead development of high-quality datasets for robust model training and evaluation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product, engineering, and business constraints into actionable data science problems.
Coach and mentor team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience applying machine learning to computer vision applications.
BA/BS/BEng in Math, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of image processing, machine learning, deep learning, and AI principles.
Extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, and deploying deep learning models in production.
