About the Role
Kainos is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to deliver production-grade AI solutions using machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI. The role involves hands-on technical delivery, cloud-native architectures, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring responsible AI practices.
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced AI solutions leveraging machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI technologies.
- Drive adoption of modern AI frameworks, AIOps best practices, and scalable cloud-native architectures.
- Collaborate with customers to translate business challenges into trustworthy AI solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.
- Ensure responsible AI practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 2.1 degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Statistics, or a similar quantitative field.
- Demonstrable experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production, including prompt engineering, RAG, model evaluation, and monitoring.
- Strong Python skills with software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, code reviews).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure & AWS), containerization, and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Expertise in data engineering for AI, including large-scale, unstructured, and multimodal data.
