We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer for a contract position based in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves designing, developing, and scaling machine learning models on cloud platforms like Azure ML, AWS, or GCP, while ensuring automated deployment and compliance with enterprise architecture policies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable ML models and workloads on cloud ML platforms.
- Facilitate pipeline orchestration for model preparation and scoring.
- Develop and support ML microservices and APIs to maximize prediction distribution.
- Implement MLOps automation for workflow monitoring and alerting.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure architectural compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- 5+ years of professional experience as an AI/ML Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks (Unity Catalog) and major cloud ML platforms.
- Proven experience building end-to-end ML systems and ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Pandas, and SQL.
- Strong background in building scalable APIs using FastAPI and data warehouses like Snowflake.
