About the Role
SpyCloud seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer to drive AI innovation by prototyping and building scalable AI systems using LLMs, agentic workflows, and graph technologies. This highly autonomous role involves shaping AI strategy and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Drive AI innovation by identifying and evaluating emerging technologies in AI, agents, and knowledge systems.
- Rapidly prototype new products, workflows, and capabilities to validate feasibility and business value.
- Architect and build scalable AI systems combining LLMs, graph technologies, and cloud-native services.
- Partner with product, engineering, data science, and leadership to transform prototypes into production-ready capabilities.
- Develop reusable frameworks and reference architectures for cross-team AI adoption.
- Evaluate and benchmark models, agent frameworks, and AI tooling.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience at Staff or Senior Staff level.
- Proven track record of driving ambiguous, high-impact initiatives from concept to adoption.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic systems, retrieval architectures, and modern AI tooling.
