Skechers is seeking a Senior Generative AI Engineer to lead the development of proprietary AI tools and platforms. The role involves designing scalable AI pipelines using AWS services and integrating Large Language Models like Claude and Amazon Nova into business applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy secure, user-friendly GenAI solutions including chatbots and RAG systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and deployment of Skechers' proprietary Generative AI tools and private GenAI platform.
- Develop and maintain scalable AI pipelines using AWS Bedrock, Lambda, EC2, and S3.
- Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and integrate models like Claude LLM and Stable Diffusion.
- Build backend services with Python/FastAPI and frontend applications with React/React Native.
- Coordinate with security, UI/UX, and data integration teams to refine AI solutions.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience with some generative model exposure.
- 3+ years of backend server language experience (Python).
- 5+ years developing REST APIs and working with JavaScript frontend frameworks (React/Vue).
