About the Role
Second Foundation seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to build Python tooling for analytical and trading teams. The role involves data processing infrastructure, enabling new ML approaches, deploying models, and monitoring performance. Ideal candidates have a mathematical background, Python experience, and familiarity with CI/CD and ML toolkits.
Responsibilities
- Build industry-leading tooling in Python for analytical and trading teams.
- Set up data processing and improve its infrastructure.
- Enable new machine learning approaches and simplify ML operations.
- Deploy new models in production and monitor reliability.
- Present complex data through custom dashboards.
Requirements
- Mathematical or technical background.
- Curious mind and passion for problem-solving.
- Strong ability to discuss, communicate, and document technical decisions.
- Delivery of clean, concise, and maintainable code.
- Ability to grasp new data and present it clearly.
- Experience with Python and libraries like NumPy and pandas.
- Experience with CI/CD (K8s), ML toolkits, or performance optimization.
