Senior Data Scientist (Generative AI & LLM Systems)

SAP is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to embed AI and generative capabilities into their web platforms. The role involves designing LLM-powered features, building agentic workflows with LangChain, and optimizing RAG pipelines. You will work with web developers to deploy models into production.

• Design and implement AI-powered capabilities within the web delivery ecosystem.
• Integrate machine learning models, LLMs, and predictive systems into web applications and APIs.
• Architect agentic workflows using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Develop and evaluate ML models for personalization, recommendation, predictive analytics, content generation, user behavior modeling, and anomaly detection.
• Prototype and deploy LLM-powered features such as intelligent assistants and automated workflows.
• Optimize RAG architectures with advanced chunking, semantic caching, and hybrid search.
• Design prompt strategies, evaluation pipelines, and guardrails.
• Optimize inference performance and cost for production systems.
• Develop APIs and microservices to expose AI functionality.
• Define and implement data pipelines for training and inference.
• Implement responsible AI practices including bias monitoring and explainability.
