About the Role
Safran.AI is seeking an MLOps Engineer to evolve its AI platform, supporting satellite imagery, FMV video, and acoustic signals. The role involves building and maintaining MLOps tools for data scientists, deploying models in cloud and on-premise environments, and assisting customer deployments. The team of 15 works on the AI Factory, covering data ingestion to model deployment.
Responsibilities
- Evolve platform components in cloud and on-premise environments for defense contexts
- Improve tools for data scientists to accelerate model development, retraining, packaging, and production deployment
- Strengthen model exploitability in production: serving, monitoring, multi-GPU management, profiling, and benchmarking
- Assist in deploying solutions at customer sites, including constrained environments
- Conduct technology watch and propose pragmatic stack and practice improvements
- Share best practices via pair programming, mentoring, and feedback
Requirements
- At least 4 years in a similar role (MLOps or Machine Learning Engineer), with at least 2 years focused on AI in production
- Strong Python skills and good software development practices
- Solid understanding of databases, containerization, and deployment environments
- Experience with deployment, monitoring, observability, or model serving in production
