About the Role
Roku is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to design, build, and maintain intelligent agents and copilots for Roku TV. The role involves end-to-end agent development, including model selection, prompt design, RAG pipelines, and agent orchestration. Candidates should have strong Python skills and experience with LLM-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy AI agents and copilots for Roku TV use cases.
- Own end-to-end agentic systems from concept to production.
- Design single-agent and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
- Build scalable RAG and context pipelines.
- Implement tool-calling and function-calling integrations.
- Create reusable agent templates.
- Establish evaluation, observability, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in CS or related field.
- 2+ years of software engineering or AI/ML engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, experience with C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems including prompt design, retrieval, tool use.
- Experience building RAG pipelines and agent frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, REST APIs, containerization.
- Experience with observability and evaluation for AI systems.
