About the Role
Robert Half is seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer for a consumer products and eCommerce client in Los Angeles. This role drives the strategy, design, and deployment of enterprise-scale AI solutions, including LLM-based applications and intelligent workflows. The position offers a hybrid work model and the opportunity to shape AI adoption across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable AI applications and intelligent workflow solutions.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify AI opportunities that improve efficiency, decision-making, and customer experiences.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade AI systems with a focus on reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices guidance to engineering teams working on AI initiatives.
- Develop integrations between AI platforms, cloud services, APIs, and enterprise business systems.
- Establish standards for model evaluation, monitoring, governance, observability, and cost optimization.
- Build and optimize AI-powered applications using modern language models, retrieval systems, and agent-based architectures.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture reviews, documentation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement efforts.
