Rebtel is hiring an AI/ML Engineer to define AI tooling, build classical ML models (fraud, churn, forecasting) and LLM-powered systems (RAG, agents) for a user base of millions. This role sits on the Data team and will shape AI from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Own classical ML models for risk/fraud, churn prediction, forecasting, and segmentation end-to-end.
- Build LLM-based systems including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and prompt orchestration.
- Deploy, monitor, and retrain models in production with CI/CD and evaluation harnesses.
- Guide the company on AI strategy: what to build, buy, or ignore.
Requirements
- 4+ years hands-on ML engineering in Python with production ownership.
- Strong fundamentals in classical ML: feature engineering, model selection, validation.
- Production mindset: monitoring, retraining, eval harnesses, CI/CD.
- Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar).
- Built RAG systems or LLM-backed products.
- Comfortable with vector databases, embeddings, and prompt evaluation.
- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, containers, and modern data stack.
