Sr. AI Platform Engineer

Realtor.com is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to architect and operate the internal AI tooling foundation. This role blends software engineering with enterprise platform management, building frameworks and protocols for safe AI adoption across the company. You will own the operational health and governance of key AI tools, and drive the adoption of emerging open protocols.

• Design and implement agentic architecture including orchestration, memory layers, and state management
• Own day-to-day platform operations for Portkey, Claude, Gemini, Devin, and Glean (provisioning, access, license hygiene)
• Standardize AI protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication
• Engineer the LLM gateway layer with centralized model access, routing, caching, guardrails, and PII controls
• Enforce platform governance via code (SSO, RBAC, policy-as-code)
• Lead maintenance, runbook engineering, and serve as operational escalation point
• Strengthen AWS infrastructure with Bedrock, IAM, security, and network controls

• 5+ years of Software, Platform, or Systems Administration experience
• Hands-on familiarity with the AI stack (agentic architectures, tool-calling, platforms like Glean, Gemini, Devin, Claude, Portkey)
• Strong understanding of SSO, RBAC, least privilege, and identity lifecycle management
