Randstad Japan is hiring an AI Engineer for a remote role. You will develop and improve ML engines for an AI platform that automates data science. The position requires 3+ years of production code experience with Python and LLMs. Candidates must have valid permission to work in Japan.
Responsibilities
- Implementation and improvement of machine learning algorithms
- Development of new features for the AI platform
- Performance evaluation and optimization of ML engines
- Building infrastructure for large-scale data processing
- Product quality improvement and bug fixing
- Technical collaboration with overseas development teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in production code development (design, implementation, testing, operations)
- Practical implementation experience with Python (Agent infra, data processing)
- Experience in development using LLMs / Generative AI
- Ability to ensure software quality (automated testing, debugging, incident response)
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis (SQL, Statistics, Predictive analysis)
- Experience building prototypes from ambiguous requirements and evolving them into final products
