NBCUniversal (via Flexgen) is hiring a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to implement core algorithms at the intersection of computer vision and computer graphics. The role focuses on manipulating large 2D and 3D media datasets, applying cutting-edge ML research, and generating high-fidelity 3D content for customers using Python and large-scale geospatial datasets.
Responsibilities
- Implement core deep-learning, computer vision, and (inverse-)procedural modeling algorithms in Python using linear algebra, probability, and geometry.
- Apply cutting-edge machine learning and computer graphics research to real-world product problems.
- Work closely with cofounders to translate high-level product vision into technical milestones.
- Deploy and test code on large-scale geospatial datasets via Unix shell to generate 3D content.
- Manage source code with Git and modularize complex implementation tasks.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
- Proven experience as a Deep Learning Engineer or Applied Research Engineer.
- Fluency with Python, Git, and the Unix shell.
