Abridge is building a new agentic engineering team to develop the internal AI systems and agents that power how engineers ship software. This role focuses on CI/CD infrastructure, MCP servers, and AI-assisted development workflows. The team reports directly to the CTO and is a top company priority. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
Build and evolve developer infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and build tooling to improve velocity and reliability.
Design and implement agentic workflows, MCP servers, and AI-assisted tooling embedded in the development lifecycle.
Own the developer experience from local development to deployment and observability, eliminating friction.
Drive technical excellence in architecture and tooling decisions.
Evaluate and adopt AI-powered development tools across the engineering org.
Requirements
Strong experience building CI/CD systems and build tooling (e.g., Bazel, Buck, GitHub Actions, Buildkite, CircleCI).
Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks, MCP servers, LLM tooling, or AI-assisted development workflows.
Experience improving developer experience across local development, CI/CD pipelines, and internal tooling.
Familiarity with production systems in AWS, GCP, or similar.
Experience with containerized environments, Kubernetes, and modern infrastructure tooling (e.g., ArgoCD, Istio, Atmos).
