Data Scientist - Data

Paidy seeks a Senior Data Scientist to drive data science projects in marketing, product, and finance. The role involves consulting with business owners, building predictive models, and enhancing data pipelines. Impact ranges from customer behavior to strategic decisions for the company's BNPL platform.

• Consult with business owners and executive team to understand project goals.
• Propose and deliver data science solutions including feature engineering pipelines, predictive models, custom data marts, and simulation tools.
• Develop and maintain Scala Spark packages and Looker model changes.
• Extract insights and engineer features from large datasets using big data frameworks.

• More than 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist in technology, marketing, media, or entertainment.
• Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark, Hive, Athena, BigQuery.
• Experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Experience developing predictive models applied to real-world business problems.
• Good foundational skills in statistics and experiment design.
• Experience building ETL pipelines with orchestration tools like Prefect, Airflow, or Argo.
• Excellent command of SQL and Python.
• Experience with GitHub and staging-production development environment.
