White Circle is seeking a Senior ML Infrastructure Engineer to build scalable RL and post-training pipelines for their AI safety platform. The role involves designing distributed systems for model iteration, inference optimization, and agentic development environments. Candidates must have deep expertise in debugging GPU workloads and optimizing training/inference throughput at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable RL and post-training pipelines including smoke tuning runs and ablations.
- Design data control systems for rollouts, replay, filtering, evaluation, and policy updates.
- Optimize training and inference end-to-end for throughput across networking, memory, and I/O.
- Develop infrastructure for model iteration, experiment tracking, and cost visibility.
- Construct agentic development environments with coding-agent harnesses and multi-agent orchestration.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing and running distributed RL/post-training systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Python (concurrency, async, multiprocessing) and PyTorch or JAX.
- Expertise in debugging distributed GPU workloads using CUDA, NCCL, and profiling tools.
- Experience with inference stacks such as vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, or custom serving solutions.
