NBCUniversal seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to build C++ software for machine learning, computer vision, and 3D modeling. You'll implement core algorithms using linear algebra and geometry, apply cutting-edge research, and deploy code on cloud platforms with geospatial data.
Responsibilities
- Implement core machine-learning/computer vision and procedural modeling algorithms in C++
- Apply cutting-edge research in ML, computer vision, and computer graphics
- Work with leadership to understand product vision and customer requirements
- Use Git for source code management and deploy/test on cloud with geospatial datasets
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
- Knowledge of linear algebra, probability, and geometry
- Experience with machine learning, computer vision, and/or computer graphics
- Experience with Git and Unix shell
- Ability to work with large-scale geospatial data
