Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Personalization

DraftKings is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its Personalization team to build real-time, one-to-one personalization at scale. This role involves designing and deploying machine learning systems that improve player engagement and retention, working across Engineering, Product, and Analytics teams. The engineer will also mentor peers, define best practices, and lead end-to-end ML initiatives from concept to production.

• Lead end-to-end machine learning initiatives for player engagement and retention, from concept to production deployment.
• Build scalable, reusable ML pipelines with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Design and manage CI/CD workflows for ML using MLflow, Jenkins, and GitOps.
• Monitor model performance in production, implementing retraining, drift detection, and continuous optimization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into ML solutions.
• Mentor other engineers and define best practices for ML system design, development, and deployment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with machine learning systems in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience on distributed data platforms such as Spark.
