Mistplay, the #1 loyalty app for mobile gamers, is seeking a Principal ML Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable machine learning infrastructure. This role involves developing real-time inference systems, feature platforms, and platform abstractions to support recommendation and reinforcement learning systems in production.
Responsibilities
- Design and build ML infrastructure for model training and real-time inference. Develop feature platform capabilities for generating and serving user-level features. Create platform abstractions, golden paths (Airflow DAG templates, CLI/SDKs, CI/CD pipelines). Implement end-to-end observability for ML workflows. Partner with Security, SRE, and Data Engineering on infrastructure best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years building production-grade ML/data platforms. Strong software engineering in Python, Go, or Java. Deep experience with inference solutions (endpoint configuration, containerization, autoscaling). Expertise with online feature stores. Proven Terraform and Airflow experience. Familiarity with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow). Excellent cross-functional communication.
