Senior Research Scientist - Generative Models & Large Language Models

Meta's Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) organization is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to drive advancements in generative models, with a focus on data efficiency and continual learning in large language models. The role spans research, engineering, and deployment for both product and frontier model efforts.

• Conduct fundamental research in generative models and large language models; publish findings in top-tier conferences; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy research into product; mentor junior researchers.

• PhD in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related field; strong publication record at top venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.); expertise in generative models and large language models; proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

• Experience with large-scale distributed training systems; familiarity with Meta's infrastructure; contributions to open-source projects.
