About the Role
Match Profiler is seeking a Data Engineer with strong Python and GCP skills for a hybrid role in Lisbon. You will build and maintain data pipelines, work with ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with French-speaking stakeholders. 3+ years of experience and proficiency in French are required.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Pub/Sub).
- Implement ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and schema design.
- Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow/Cloud Composer.
- Implement CI/CD for data pipelines and manage version control with Git.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional data engineering experience.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer/Airflow) and SQL.
- Proficiency in French (B2 level or higher).
Nice to Have
- GCP certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer).
- Experience with streaming data (Kafka, Pub/Sub) and real-time analytics.
