Lovable is seeking a Senior AI Research Engineer to own the full post-training pipeline for their generative AI platform. The role focuses on translating cutting-edge research into production-ready training recipes for code generation and agentic workloads, emphasizing rapid iteration and shipping. You will bridge the gap between academic research and scalable infrastructure, ensuring models perform exceptionally well in real-world user scenarios.

• Own the end-to-end post-training lifecycle including data curation, training runs, evaluation, and deployment.
• Apply and adapt reinforcement learning, preference optimization (RLVR/RFT), and supervised fine-tuning methods.
• Build evaluation and experimentation infrastructure to measure model quality, safety, latency, and reliability.
• Develop and operate production systems for large-scale GPU orchestration and distributed training.
• Investigate and resolve model regressions from user-facing symptoms back through serving and training.

• Proven experience running post-training jobs on large language models (not just API usage).
• Strong production coding skills with ability to build reliable systems.
• Fluency in major ML frameworks like PyTorch or JAX.
