KPMG is seeking a Manager for Federal Artificial Intelligence Engineering to lead data and AI engagements within the US Federal government sector. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from data discovery and ETL processes to model validation and deployment. Candidates must have deep technical expertise in distributed computing and cloud infrastructure, combined with strong client-facing leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute delivery of data/AI engagements including risk mitigation and deliverable management
- Oversee creation of analytics and ML models through all phases: design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation
- Lead workshops and innovation sessions to define problem statements and high-level analytical solutions
- Manage complex work streams, budgets, and client expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Define and monitor key business metrics and reporting dashboards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, IT, or Data Science
- U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
- Deep technical understanding of NLP, ML on unstructured data, and information retrieval
- Hands-on experience with distributed computing platforms (Hadoop, Spark, PySpark) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
