KPMG Canada is seeking a hands-on ML/AI Engineer Manager to design, build, and operationalize AI-powered solutions at scale. You will partner with clients to translate business problems into end-to-end ML/AI solutions, leveraging cloud platforms and MLOps best practices.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to identify AI opportunities and design ML/AI solutions; Execute ML/AI engineering tasks including data preparation, model development, and deployment; Operationalize AI/ML pipelines with CI/CD, monitoring, and retraining; Apply responsible AI principles; Support client workshops and technical discussions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in ML/AI engineering; University degree in computer science or related field; Strong proficiency in Python; Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and platform tools (Azure ML Studio, Databricks MLFlow); Experience with MLOps practices and cloud deployment (Azure, AWS, or GCP); Experience with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Spark; Cloud AI certifications; Experience fine-tuning foundational models.
