JCPenney is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to drive data infrastructure and ML model integration within their Aurora, CO office. The role focuses on maintaining hypothesis testing systems, prototyping with Looker, and managing Hugging Face platform work for enterprise expansion. Responsibilities
- Document and maintain the Hypothesis Testing system for efficient onboarding
- Prototype and evaluate Looker dashboards for inclusion in the tech stack
- Identify architectural bottlenecks and propose proactive improvements
- Manage Hugging Face platform work supporting CO expansion
- Harden Work Ethic authentication systems for audit compliance
- Write and maintain XGBoost integration tests to prevent regressions
- Partner with QA to define test coverage standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience with data wrangling and model integration
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
