About the Role
IBM Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist / AI Engineer for financial services. The role involves developing predictive models, analyzing diverse data, and delivering data-driven insights using machine learning and generative AI. You will work on hybrid cloud and AI journeys for leading companies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement predictive models using optimization and simulation tools
- Analyze diverse data types with Python, Pandas, NumPy, and visualization libraries
- Deliver data-driven insights through machine learning and statistical modeling
- Collaborate on solution delivery and maintain technical expertise in CI/CD and cloud platforms
- Design, implement, and evaluate generative AI and AI agents
Requirements
- Experience with data preparation, analysis, and predictive modeling using Python and related libraries
- Proficiency in Python and development environments (PyCharm, VS Code, Jupyter)
- Experience with data management (SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience with optimization tools (IBM CPLEX, Gurobi) and statistical analysis (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools (Docker, Podman, Jenkins)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and generative AI
