Sr. Engineer, Machine Learning

Dayforce seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement ML models and API services for AI products like Dayforce AI Assistant. The role involves full-stack development using Python, React, and cloud platforms, requiring 6+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in ML.

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and API services
• Develop full-stack solutions using React, Python, SQL, Delta Tables, GraphQL, and PySpark
• Prepare, clean, and preprocess large-scale datasets for training ML models
• Manage end-to-end ML pipelines from data preprocessing to deployment and monitoring
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 6+ years of overall software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning and AI software development
• Strong programming experience in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn)
• Experience building APIs with Flask or FastAPI and frontend development with React
• Strong understanding of ML fundamentals, supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, and ensemble methods
