About the Role
Hirevector is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to work on products related to seismic and well log data, identifying geologic characteristics. The role involves deep learning, GPU training, and image models, with senior-level experience leading teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small engineering team setting technical goals. Build and deploy ML models for image processing and time series signal processing. Set up distributed model training pipelines using Vertex AI and Kubeflow. Maintain data pipelines for image and sensor data.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience leading engineering teams. Deep learning, GPU training and inference, image models. Experience with MLOps tools and practices. Strong background in building and deploying ML models. Hands-on experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch. Familiarity with GCP.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GCP highly desirable. Familiarity with Protocol Buffers and containerization. Experience with rapid prototyping. Agentic coding tools like Claude.
